"Balance and Abundance"
A blessing shrine for us all: Sculpted hand cast in stone holds a rosary, as it both gives and receives. Inner box layered with rice, draped with pouches of mixed Mexican and American coin. Silver cup set in arroyo sand holds milagros. Scavenged wood box, rose madder encaustic.
I've taken classes with Valarie for the last three years. The most important thing I've learned is how to bring my sculpture to completion by making molds and also learning casting.
