Commissions

"Southside Church commissioned sculptor Valarie James to design a migrant shrine. She respectfully listened to our dreams and brilliantly conceptualized, constructed and installed a beautiful shrine to remind us of everyone's journeys and especially of those who have lost their lives moving through the desert."
